What I Got For Christmas

Happy Sunday!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a very very drunk New Year. Hope the hangover isn’t too much today. I very much enjoyed my Christmas so in the spirit of that I thought I’d share a few of the gifts I received. I personally love these posts, I’m so nosy with stuff like this. I haven’t included everything in the photo simply for aesthetic reasons so I will be adding a couple of honourable mentions at the end.

I’ll start left to right…

Tommy Hilfiger Mini Backpack – I’ve been after the perfect mini backpack for quite some time. I was initially scouring the internet looking for a plain black cheap and chic one however whilst on my search I stumbled upon this perfect little number. I left it for a while but it was one of those items I couldn’t stop thinking and going on about. I’m so pleased with it and I cannot wait to style it.

Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette – if you read my Most Wanted Make Up post a few weeks ago, you’ll know how much I’ve been wanting this eyeshadow palette. I love playing with colours and I can honestly say, the shades in this palette are so lovely, they’re exciting, you can basically pair any colours together and they blend like butter. You can’t ask for more than that.

Thierry Mugler Alien – It’s my signature scent and I get a bottle every year. I absolutely love it and I get so many compliments on it. That’s all I really have to say about it but if you get the chance, go and give it a sniff.

Burgundy Patent Chelsea Boots – If you’ve read my first ever post you’ll know that I’ve been after these for a while. They’re absolutely gorgeous and they’re perfect for the winter season. I can’t wait to pair these with straight leg jeans and a fur coat. So cosy!

Suck Less: Where There’s a Willam, There’s a Way – I am personally a huge fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, my favourite queen being Miss Willam Belli. In this book, Willam teaches you how to Suck Less by sharing tips on how to be better. He covers topics from shoes and hair to revenge and insulting someone effectively. I’ve started having a flick through and the book is beautiful and hilarious, just like Willam herself.

Liz Earle Daily Essentials Kit – I’ve been wanting to try out a few Liz Earle products since the hype began and I just never really got round to it, shameful, I know. This Christmas, I was gifted this box of lovely products that are perfect for my skin type, dryer than the desert, and I have very much been enjoying trying them out. The kit comes with the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth CleanserTwo Pure Muslin ClothsInstant Boost Skin TonicSkin Repair Moisturiser for Dry/Sensitive Skin and a 50ml version of the Gentle Face Exfoliator. I will have a review up about this whole box in a few weeks once I’ve given it a fair chance so keep your eyes peeled.

Cicero – This may seem like a weird gift to a lot of people, and it’s definitely a weird one to include but I had to because it’s one of my favourites. I personally absolutely adore goats, I think they’re adorable, hilarious and downright precious, so this year a goat was adopted on my behalf from Buttercups Sanctuary for Goats in Kent (I’ve linked the website if you too would like to adopt a goat). Hopefully in 2017 I will brave the South and go and visit the sweet angels that are looked after there.

Honourable Mentions:

Patched Animal Fur Coat – I also mentioned this in my Winter Warmers Wish List. I’m so in love with it, I feel like a low rent and more animal friendly Cruella De Vil in it. So sassy! I can tell you now that this coat will never be off my back.

New Balance U420 – These are another thing I’ve been after for a while. I’m interested to start styling them because the only trainers I’ve worn for about ten years are Converse or Old Skool Vans.

Thank you for reading, Katie x
