Festive Face

Happy Sunday! Merry Christmas!

Can you believe it’s Christmas Day already? I definitely can’t, it seems to have come round so quickly! I hope you’ve all had your fill of turkey and mulled wine by the time you’re reading this. I know I’ll definitely be a few gin and san pellegrinos down as this goes live. This make up look isn’t necessarily that festive but it’s red based and it’s Christmas Day so let’s just roll with it. The most important components I used in today’s look is the Golden Bar Palette that I talked about in Wednesday’s postNYX Full Throttle Eyeshadow Quad in Daring DamselModels Own Chrome Eyeshadow Kit in Copper Lustre, Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold and Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Designer Blood.

Eyes:

As a brow bone highlight and base, I used the lightest shade in the NYX Full Throttle Quad. I then used Limited from the Golden Bar palette as a crease and transition colour. I then blended the burgundy shade from the NYX palette over the lid and into the crease. On top of this, I added Cocoa from the Golden Bar palette and blended those together. For the centre, I placed Golden from the Golden Bar. To complete the eye, highlighted my inner corners with the Models Own Chrome Eyeshadow in Copper Lustre. To bring this all together, I used my favourite eyeliner of all time, Seventeen Tattoo Me, to create a wing.

Face:

Face can be quite boring but I’ve recently started using a Beauty Blender recently and it’s shaved a few minutes off blending my base. I’m not too upset about the price anymore. Further, I used Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold which I could go blue in the face raving about! THE GLOW!

Lip:

I used Designer Blood from the Jeffree Star holiday collection. I have been totally obsessed with this lip colour in the last week. Trust me, just get it before it’s gone!

Thank you for reading, hope you had a lovely Christmas and Santa brought you lots of lovely goodies, Katie x
